Summer at last

When I moved up to Paris in late May, the weather was sunny and warm. The day I arrive was a typical late Spring evening and I was already thinking about the pictures I was to take in the coming days. Enjoying the sunset on the patio of my friend’s house, I told myself “this is it, it starts tomorrow”.

But it didn’t turn out that way.

As I write this, the 18th of June, we’ve only had two sunny days.I spent my time walking around and checking out the places I will photograph later on, making mental notes and trying to imagine the kind of patters I would get from the Sun at any given time of the day.

God willing the month of July will be slightly better than that of June.
